Sacramental Preparation
The Sacrament of Matrimony is one of the most beautiful moments in a person's life. As Catholics, we know that God must be at the center of such a relationship and so we seek His strength and His blessing in the Church. In Gregory County, the Church supports with great excitement those members of the faithful who approach the altar to seal their relationship in the Lord. Baptism

Baptism is the greatest gift you will ever give your child, as it is the gift of eternal life. As a parent, the Church will entrust the life of grace given to your little one to your responsibility. This means making sure that the faith is present in your life, that as they grow you teach them what it means to be a Catholic, and ensure that they receive formation and the further Sacraments of Initiation (First Reconciliation and Holy Communion). As a faith family, we want to support your desire to give your child this gift in everyway possible. For baptismal preparation requirements please click here
First Reconciliation and
Holy Communion
God's mercy, forgiveness and healing are extended and powerfully experienced in the Sacrament of Reconciliation. It restores our relationship with God once broken by sin and enables us to approach the sacred altar to receive Holy Communion, which is Jesus Christ in His fullness (Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity). When a child has reached the age of reason (generally around the Second Grade), they are able to begin preparations to receive these sacraments, so necessary for a life of holiness. If you child is approaching this age, please call the parish offices at 605-835-9290
